JEE Main 2023 Examination Pattern

1. Mode of Exam- Computer-Based Test
2. Medium of exam- Hindi, English, Gujarati, etc (Check out the table below for more)
3. Type of Questions- MCQs and questions for which the answer is a numerical value
4. Duration of exam- 3 hours
5. Marking scheme for MCQs- 4 marks for each correct answer and -1 for every wrong attempt.
6. Marking scheme for questions having an answer in a numerical value- 4 marks for correct answer and no negative marking for incorrect or answered questions.

1. What is the mode of application for JEE Main 2023 exam?
   Applications are submitted through online mode only.
2. What will be the medium of question paper?
   English and Hindi for all exam cities and English, Hindi, Gujarati etc. for exam center cities in Gujarat, Daman and Diu, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli. Some new languages have been added which are mentioned above.
3. What is the age criteria for JEE Main 2023?
   There is no age criteria for this exam. You must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in the year 2021 or 2022 from any recognized board. Candidates appearing in the final year can also apply.
4. How will the exam date and shift be allotted?
   Exam dates and shifts will be allotted randomly to each candidate.
5. I have already appeared in January exam, can I apply again to improve my score?
   Yes
6. Can I choose the language of the question paper as per my choice?
   Yes, you will be given the option to choose the QP language as per your preference at the time of online application.
7. Are there any reservation criteria?

8. What if I submit more than one application?
   Your applications will be rejected and then you will not be able to appear in JEE Main Exam.
